Second Model of St Adrian

David Tod B.E.M, skipper and enthusiastic participant of the Top Skippers’ Choice project, was proud to show two models of his boat, the St Adrian KY 245 at the TSC exhibition in February 2020 in Campbeltown. The tw0 models were made 50 years apart, the newer of the two being a larger, more detailed model with a hull made from plywood and wood. It is a fully working working model. The St Adrian KY 245 (Yard No, 002)  was built at Campbeltown Shipyard and launched in May 1970. David lived at Trench Point and worked at Campbeltown Shipyard during the construction of his boat.

David, who is from Anstruther, is Vice President of the Scottish Fisheries Museum, Anstruther.

Fifty years on the St Adrian, now the Radiant Star, is still going strong.
