We’re very grateful to Bob Mainprize of Scarborough for allowing us to share the second video of the sea trials of his boat, Maggie M MBE SH 170 (Yard no.81). She was built at Campbeltown Shipyard during 1987 and was launched the following year – her sea trials took place shortly afterwards. The video was originally recorded on VHS and the fact that it exists is amazing and an asset to this online archive. This film documents some of what took place during the sea trials in Campbeltown Loch whilst the shipyard there was still producing vessels.
