It was an absolute pleasure to meet skippers, Colin Murray (Arktos II KY129, Yard No. 45) and Ronnie Hughes (Mairead KY150, Yard No. 50) earlier today at the The Scottish Fisheries Museum. Both men come from a long line of fishing families.
I’m really grateful to David Tod, skipper of the St Adrian KY245, Yard No. 2, for setting up the meeting and for coming along and organising a space for us at the museum.
More information will be added to the archive about Ronnie and Colin and their boats in due course.
