SHAPES IN THE WATER is a documentary made in 1974 about shipbuilding in Scotland. It was directed by Bill Forsyth. The film was produced by Tree Films and funded by Highlands and Islands Development Board. The latter part of the film shows scenes from Campbeltown Shipyard, Trench Point, Campbeltown. Running time: 27.25 mins. You’ll recognise the narrator as Fulton Mackay. You can view the NLS Moving Image Archive here to watch and hire films.
