LINING UP FOR A NEW ERA – BOY ANDREW

The following article cutting comes to us courtesy of Andrew Bremner of Wick. Andrew thinks this it was published in Fishing News c. 1979. The article talks about the Boy Andrew WK 171 (Yard no. 44) which was commissioned by Norrie Bremner and built in 1979 at Campbeltown Shipyard.

Campbeltown Shipyard had a big catch last week when it landed a £750,000 order from one of Scotland’s top seine net fishermen. Skipper ‘Norrie” Bremner from Wick is having an 85ft multi-purpose vessel with an automatic longlining system fitted.
