We are grateful to Bobby Wylie for sharing these photos of the Adonis LK 172 (Yard No. 70) taken in 1985 at Campbeltown Shipyard. The Adonis was commissioned by Duncan Cumming of Burra, Shetland. This collection also has some photos of launch day. There is an article about the Adonis, which includes general arrangement drawings here.
The Adonis sank on 22nd June 1994, 60 miles off Foula, after a fire onboard. The crew abandoned the vessel and were later picked up by another fishing without loss of life.
