Here are some more “Shipyard” artworks from the P6 pupils of Dalintober Primary School in Campbeltown. The children worked with their class teacher, Elspeth Campbell, to produce some excellent artworks based on photos of the Campbeltown-built Boy Andrew WK 170 (Yard No. 74), which was built for Andrew Bremner of Wick in 1986. The children used pastels with black pens for line work.
Here’s what the pupils had to say:
We liked looking at the shape of the boat , it was like a wedge.
It has nice straight lines.
You can see the equipment clearly .
We think our pictures are fantastic.
We had to concentrate and be accurate with our line drawings
Thanks P6! Keep up the good work!
